Alex Rodriguez Jealous Of Jennifer Lopez’s Love Scenes?

Does Alex Rodriguez get jealous while watching Jennifer Lopez’s on-screen love scenes? That’s the claim in one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.

An article in the latest issue of Life & Style quotes a supposed source as saying that Rodriguez “can’t stand seeing J. Lo make out with another man, whether it’s real or fake.” The alleged insider adds, “He knows she’s an actress, but it really bothers him. He can’t help it. A-Rod’s very old school. No one kisses his girl.”

The magazine’s premise is provably untrue. In an interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show last week, Lopez discussed how Rodriguez feels about her love scenes. The actress and singer noted that she let her boyfriend know there are kissing scenes between her and co-star Milo Ventimiglia in her new movie Second Act, “and he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s OK baby.’”

When it comes to getting intimate on camera, Lopez further explained, “I always do what’s appropriate. I’m very professional. I’ve been doing this a long time.” She added, “I wouldn’t take anything that would make me feel super uncomfortable in my real life. If I take it on… I’m going to do it in a way that if [Rodriguez] saw it or anybody saw it that knew me, that I would never feel, God, I wish I didn’t do that.”

In addition to Lopez herself confirming that her boyfriend has no issue with her imaginary romances, Gossip Cop also reached out to a rep for the former MLB star, who tells us the tabloid’s story is complete nonsense. Despite what the magazine’s anonymous and seemingly nonexistent “source” claims, Rodriguez’s girlfriend and his spokesperson both confirm he has no jealousy issues when it comes to her acting career.

Earlier this week, Gossip Cop busted Life & Style’s sister publication, In Touch, for coming up with a similarly phony storyline. The tabloid falsely claimed that Rodriguez got upset while watching Lopez’s shower scene with Ventimiglia in Second Act. The actress, however, gave a different account of events. In the same SiriusXM interview mentioned above, Lopez was asked about Rodriguez’s reaction to the shower scene, and she revealed, “He didn’t say anything. He loved the movie though. He didn’t go there.”

It’s worth noting, Life & Style is the same unreliable outlet that Gossip Cop called out in April for falsely claiming that Lopez and Rodriguez were expecting twins. As time has shown, that wasn’t the case. This latest article is more fiction.
