Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce passed away at the age of 20 due to an “ongoing medical condition”.
The 20-year-old passed away on Saturday morning and the cause of death was found to be an ongoing medical condition. The news was confirmed by his family to ABC News on Saturday night.
A spokesperson communicated on behalf of the family saying, “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of it’s brightest lights. But his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”
Cameron talked about how much he is positive about life in an interview with Haute Living two months ago. He said, “Speaking with a lot of artists, one of the things all of us have in common is we’re all own biggest critics. I find comfort in that. I know that everyone sees my work in a light differently in how I see it. They’re not picking apart every little habit and twitch and imperfection nearly as thoroughly as I am.”
Boyce concluded, “So often times naysayers aren’t as hard on me as myself. It also helps when you can decipher a naysayer and a hater. A hater should always be white noise.”
