However, her strict, but loving, letter has gotten the attention of the internet, and it’s truly powerful.

The mother decided to post it to Facebook for her friends to see it and laugh, but she made it public by mistake, and it went viral since.

More than 103k people reacted to the post, and it was shared over 166k times!

After many people told her that she’s wrong for “punishing” a 13-year-old, she explained the situation in another Facebook post and clarified that she’s not going to put her son on the street, of course, but she just wanted to show him how things work and she wanted him to take pride in his home and appreciate the blessings they have.

She explains that he is more grateful because of it, and also that he has slowly earned back things and dealt with sacrificing others. Then she lists her very organized and succinct rules of the house:
