In today’s “this cannot possibly be happening” news, President Donald Trump said in a Fourth of July speech that the U.S. Army won the Revolutionary War by “taking over the airports”. In 1770.
Yeah, you too are probably thinking that this must be some kind of a mistake, and that there’s no way he really made such an egregious mistake, especially not during his Fourth of July parade. Or you believe that it was just a quote taken out of context.
However, you can check out the video for yourself below and be proven wrong:
Air travel, of course, was not invented until the early 1900s, so airports couldn’t possibly exist.
People noticed that the President made a few other mistakes as well, but we’ll leave that for another day.
